DEREK JETER RETURNS TO SSP

New York Yankee's shortstop Derek Jeter teamed up with Shooting Stars Post, Inc., ARTMIX, Nike and Wieden + Kennedy for a commercial shoot at SSP's studio on February 2, 2006.

SSP provided complete production services to ARTMIX's Photographer Kai Regan, known world wide for the iPod silhouette images. "We were really excited to have the opportunity to work with such a well know photographer, crew, talent and agency. Wieden + Kennedy and ARTMIX are consistently known for creating brilliant campaigns worldwide. They were great to work with and as usual Derek was great!" said President of SSP John Samaha.

More than a digital production firm, Shooting Stars offers film crews, more than 4,000 square feet of studio space, state-of-the-art digital recording and editing gear, and complete in-house production capabilities.

NEW EQUIPMENT BRINGS IMPROVED SERVICES AT SHOOTING STARS

Shooting Stars Post, Inc. (SSP) recently acquired new equipment that will improve the quality and speed of its many digital production projects. The South Tampa digital production firm purchased the Academy Award® winning Maya® software to improve on its already distinguished digital production projects.

"Maya®, powered by the 3D Boxx work station will allow us to produce high-quality results in half the time with almost any project," said Seth Piguet, director of multimedia for SSP and certified Maya® user.

One area SSP will utilize the new software will be building renderings for its many real estate development projects in and around the Tampa Bay area.

"We will be able to achieve better renderings in much less time," said Piguet. "It will allow us to bring the building to life before the ground is even broken."

SSP will also use the new additions in areas such as broadcast production, CD-ROM projects and other dynamic media outlets. Owner of SSP John Samaha said the firm's new additions would allow them to enhance their services in every aspect of digital production.

"From Web-based projects to movies and video games, this equipment would allow Shooting Stars to become more diverse in the competitive Tampa Bay digital production market," said Samaha.
