COLLIER COUNTY BLOSSOMS WITH SHOOTING STARS

TAMPA, FL – April 12, 2005 – Paradise Advertising and Marketing, Inc. has retained Shooting Stars Post, Inc. (SSP) to assist in producing an interactive CD to help stimulate economic development in Collier County.

Paradise Advertising has been working with the Collier County Film Commission in an effort to promote these areas to film production and photographic professionals.

The CD will showcase the Marco Island, Naples and the Everglades areas and is scheduled for completion at the end of April 2005.

Viewers will be able to access photographs from each area and the CD will contain several hyperlinks back to the Collier County Film Commission Web site to gather further information.

“We are trying to give people a flavor of the area and the variety of things they have access to,” said John Samaha, president of SSP. “Not only will they be able to see the area that interests them, they will have access to an enormous amount of information on it.”

The Collier County Film Commission hopes to promote these areas by distributing the CD, which will also contain a two to three minute video, at trade shows, conventions and other film production outlets.

Dave Di Maggio, vice president and creative director at Paradise Advertising, has worked with SSP before and explains why SSP is a leader in the digital production industry.

“This project is a demonstration of their ability to go beyond a normal editing studio,” Di Maggio said. “SSP is excellent at connecting disciplines beyond just broadcast production.”

More than a digital production firm, SSP has an 8,000 square foot facility located at 3106 W. North A Street, Tampa, FL 33609, with more than 4,000 square feet of studio space, top-of-the-line digital recording and editing gear, and complete in-house production capabilities.
