SHOOTING STARS HELPS HUNGRY HOWIES EAT UP THE COMPETITION

TAMPA, FL – April 27, 2005 – Shooting Stars Post, Inc. (SSP) recently worked with Devine Communications to produce two television commercials for Hungry Howies Pizza.

The two, 15-second commercials, centered on the slogan, “What can you get for $7.99?,” were the result of creativeness, collaboration and the latest in digital production software.

John Samaha, president and founder of SSP, said the project presented several challenges in order to deliver the best product at the best value.

“This project enabled us to be extremely creative,” Samaha said. “We were able to use all of our resources to produce two great commercials.”

SSP handled all aspects of the production and post production process. The creative digital production firm even brought in a portable oven to have “fresh” pizza for the shoot.

The kitchen in the background was a photograph that had been enlarged to 12 feet long by eight feet high. The four actors in the commercial were, in fact, the only real life aspect to the shoot.

Although the project presented several challenges, Samaha said the biggest challenge was getting the best point of view (POV) shot on the pizza.

Through creative thinking and use of common tools, SSP was able to hook a camera to a dolly and catch a perfect POV shot on the pizza as it was being delivered.

Jim Kenefick, senior art director for Devine Communications, said he chose SSP because of the “trust factor” with the firm.

“I am glad we chose to go with this digital production firm,” Kenefick said. “We will definitely use Shooting Stars for future projects.”
