Green screen compositing, or chroma key compositing, is the post-production technique for layering two images or video streams together based on color hues. It starts with shooting the subject in front of a bright green background. The footage is then uploaded into our compositing software, After Effects or AVID, where we replace the green background with another still image, animation, logo, or video footage. The green screen allows us to place the subject virtually anywhere and enables us to change the background with ease and at a minimal cost. This technique offers endless opportunity for creative branding for your company. Green screen compositing can be used for CEO messages, corporate branding videos, 3D virtual sets with a spokesperson, and for producing low cost, high-quality TV commercials.
