Shooting Stars Post was amazing on this project. The scope and technical specs changed constantly, the deadline was unreal and the hardware to run the show wasn’t installed until the last minute, but SSP rolled with all of it and delivered a great product” said Thom Vanderklipp, St. Joseph’s Marketing Project Manager.

For the black-tie grand opening gala, Shooting Stars produced the event sponsor and donor video, displayed on several high definition screens placed through out the event area where 1974 Grammy Award-winner, Roberta Flack performed. In other areas of the hospital, guest toured patient rooms where the “New Patient Welcome Video” described all the functions and features of the rooms and facility. The art direction of the video was created to match the room’s ambiance and soft tones to make the patients feel at ease. It was shot in HD and edited on the HD Avid Adrenaline.

In addition to the opening gala projects, an installation video was created for the main reception area. The “video wall” is housed on a spectacular pebbled wall and needed to reflect the design scrutiny of the building. It was comprised of three synchronized high definition monitors with interrelated images and graphics. The project was created in Flash and designed to interact throughout all three screens.
