Shooting Stars Post not only updated their studio recently but we have also added two new and more advanced pieces of equipment: the Panasonic 370HPX camera and the Avid Media Composer Nitris DX editing system. Staying a head of the technology curve has always been a founding principle of Shooting Stars Post.

Panasonic 370HPX:
This advanced camera delivers exceptional video performance for master-quality HD production, recording with full 1920 x 1080-resolution. The 370HPX also has impressive levels of sensitivity based on low-noise analog process technology. Interchangeable lenses offer flexibility as well as the camera has a large range of built in creative features and options including variable frame rates and advanced gamma functions including a new Cine film-like gamma. P2 media is the recording media format for the HPX370, meaning video tapes are no longer required to shoot or store.
We are very excited to have the Panasonic HPX370, as we have already used it on countless studio shoots and a field productions. This camera provides Shooting Stars Post with a versatile camera that has a faster speed of file-based workflow and impeccable image quality.

Avid Media Composer Nitris DX:
The Nitris DX system is the most high performance editing solution currently on the market. Regarded as the most powerful Media Composer system ever built, Nitris DX has real-time editing and playback of multiple SD and HD resolutions. The Nitris system has native integration of P2, XDCAM-HD, and HDV formats that allows our editors to focus on their creative editing and not deal with moving data in and out of the system. The native integration of the P2 media allows a seamless and efficient work flow between the Panasonic HPX370 and the Avid Nitris DX.
