Shooting Stars Post opened business in September 1987 with John Samaha at the helm. Our original location was at the Beaumont Business Center in Tampa, Florida. With the immediate success that followed, SSP threw a Christmas party to remember!
Live Mermaids from Weeki Wachee Springs “swam in” and were placed in a four foot above ground pool right in the middle of the studio. Party goers tossed raffle tickets into the pool to win door prizes including a cruise vacation for two! The Carib Cool Band, amazing drink and food spread, shot girls and a huge fireworks show at the end of the night made the party one for the history books! There was a big crowd and fun was had by all! So much fun that one of the guests ended up falling in the pool by the end of the night causing a huge flood!
